Underwater Sound button
Welcome to Seagate’s World. This is a blog of human interest, taking you behind the scenes of Seagate and the region of Baja California, Mexico, the area where Seagate has its factory and the local people. This will also take you to areas touched by our people, from photography of the ocean depths to farming in one of the most arid regions on Earth, and surfing its shorelines.
This is a blog about our world and the world we all live in. It is also a question and answer forum for the use of Seagate’s products. Each week we will attempt to cover a topic of interest or present photos and sounds of our world. The photos, especially the underwater photography are meant to enjoyed by all. The underwater photography has been taken by Richard, who has been diving for over 40 years in the waters off Baja California and around the world.
Many of you will never have the chance to visit this region or venture under the ocean. This blog will take you there in photos, sounds and descriptions. We will cover different topics of interest each week, with a few new photos of our world to share with you.
Some planned blog topics for the future will include:
More fish photos
Beach foam and pollution in San Diego
Farming in Baja California
Mixing shark cartilage with yoghurt
Staying fit at 60
Yeast and Fungal infections
The Tijuana border
Drug cartels in Mexico
Seagate Factory operations
As the initial topic to begin this blog, we would like to introduce to you the key employees of our company and pictures of the plant and farms. Seagate operates in the U.S. and Mexico. In Mexico, we have our production plant and farming and fishing operations. In the U.S., we have our main office and warehouse and customer service. Below are the faces of our people who control the production and processing of our raw materials, and who take care of our customer service and shipping.
