The single most common question we receive from Seagate customers each month is — how can they get their local health food store to carry some of the Seagate Products.
Seagate does not employ sales reps to go into stores to get our products on to their shelves. Instead we rely on word-of-mouth recommendations from customers. A customer that is happy with the products, the pricing, service, and results tend to recommend Seagate to their friends and family. A considerable number of customers over the years have also recommended our products to the managers of their local health food stores. At least 1,000 stores that carry Seagate products were the result of this type of customer request.
Seagate supports local health food stores and encourages our customers to also shop there when it is more convenient. The “Mom and Pop” health food stores tend to carry the best products, give the best service, and are usually very responsive to their customers’ needs. Should you wish to have a store stock any of our products, the best approach is the direct one. Inform your local store which products you would like them to carry and have them contact Seagate (1-888-505-4283). A good store will respond to this type of customer request. It is also in their own best interest to learn from their customers about which products that their customers would purchase if they were stocked on their shelves. If a store does not seem to care to follow through with your request, remember that you are the most important factor in their business — the loyal customer — and can easily take your business elsewhere.
