Olive Leaf Surface Cleaner for your skin?

A customer named Terri C. recently wrote this email to Seagate wondering whether her recent purchase of Seagate Olive Leaf Surface Cleaner could be used topically on her skin–

This is a question that we receive from time to time from customers who would like to use the Olive Leaf Surface Cleaner for applications that are outside of its approved product category.

Hello Terri,

The surface cleaner is for cleaning surfaces. We are technically not authorized to claim that it is for cleaning the skin. This is similar to the question about whether the Surface Cleaner can be used as a disinfectant. Both designations require special EPA testing and approval, which at this time Seagate is not ready to perform. Basically we would have to go through years of testing to show the EPA the obvious — that the 2 ingredients in this product, which are both edible food ingredients, and used in some of our other internal homeopathic medicines, are not poisons and can be applied on your skin.

The nudibranch is a soft-body marine mollusk, similar to a snail without its shell that swims and glides along the bottom in search of food. There are over 3,000 species of nudibranchs, most all having spectacular colors. They are mostly found in warm tropical waters near reefs.
