Do you have any good products which will work relatively quickly for hi LDL and overall hi cholesterol and for osteoporosis. If none, will you tell me what are very good natural products for both, please? Thank you so much for your prompt response,

Many customers write to us describing their medical problems. Because we process health food products, they assume that Seagate can recommend quick solutions. However, we are really a farming and fishing company and therefore try to apply a dose of common sense along with 40 years experience in the production of natural foods. Many of these questions have the same theme — people having long-term problems looking for quick solutions, preferably in the form of pills.
First of all, these are all medical conditions for which we cannot make medical claims with our products since they are supplements. But I can answer you this way–

What I might do if I had high LDL and cholesterol is to take — a lot of olive oil in caps and as an oil over food and substitute it for all the animal fats and dairy that you were consuming. I would also get on a lot of Omega-3s and Grape Seed Extract. Most important – eat a lot of fish or fish powder, lots of fruits and vegetables or our concentrates like carrots, broccoli, etc. In addition, lose weight, stop eating processed foods, GMO foods, carbs, sugar and alcohol.
If you want something to work quickly, then you would have to get a prescription pill like Lipitor and suffer the side effects. It brought a close friend’s cholesterol down from over 300 to 180 in a few months and left her with severe muscle cramps in her legs and difficulty sleeping. As soon as she went off the Lipitor it shot up to 280. Basically what I am suggesting is a change in lifestyle, going to a Mediterranean type of diet, and allow some time to accomplish this. If you approach it wanting a pill and a quick fix, then you probably will not solve your problem long term. But that is the American way of fixing things these days … unfortunately.
Regarding osteoporosis, usually people are told to increase their calcium intake. Our two calcium-rich foods are — Shark Cartilage and Marine Protein (both have ground up bone or cartilage powder). Also doing weight-bearing exercises is supposedly very helpful. However, you should check with your health care professional first to make sure which exercises are appropriate for you given your conditioning.

Good luck with this. I hope this helps answer some of your questions. Sorry to be a little blunt.

The message to eat more fish does not include these fish which are we photographed along a protected reef near Ambergris Caye in Belize. The fish in front of the coral is a species of snapper. If you look closely, you can see at least 6 other cousins hiding in and around the coral.
