Lemonade is really sugar water with some lemon flavor that on average has over 25 grams of sugar in an 8 oz serving. Seagate Lemon Powder is made from whole lemons. It is not lemonade. It contains no sugar. However, it can be a very healthy way for you to make lemonade.

Recently, a customer Sue Davis asked us the following question regarding Seagate Lemon Powder:
Do you think it would it be possible to make lemonade from the lemon powder?
Seagate replied- Sure, a lot of people use it that way. However, this powder is not lemonade. So you will have to make some minor adjustments. It has a naturally bitter taste because we are using the whole lemon — the skin, seeds, zest, pulp, and juice. So you would need to add something to sweeten it such as xylitol, stevia or agave so that it becomes more like lemonade. It will be much healthier for you than regular lemonade that is made from a little bit of lemon flavor and a lot of sugar.
Thank you

The product falling out of the grinder contains every part of the lemon:

The ground lemon is then loaded into the freeze-dryer and the water is removed under vacuum.

Seagate Lemon Powder is the only product available that dehydrates the entire whole lemon. You may need to add a little sweetener to counter the natural acidic taste.
The photo below was taken in very warm equatorial waters in Indonesia. This was part of a “muck-diving” trip to photograph very small creatures living on the bottom in the mud and around coral formations. This picture shows what a reef should look like, complete with hundreds of small bright fish. There was no disease or bleaching of this reef structure by heating from global warming.

It is great that you are willing to produce your lemon powder with no additives and I have shared your website to others. I wonder if your company has ever explored/ experimented the possibilities of perhaps reducing the clumping/ caking of the lemon powder thru choosing a “combo team packet of O-Buster (TM) and Pillow-Pak” from http://www.desiccare.com that can be put into each of your plastic containers. Then if desired the powdered after being opened can be transferred into wide-mouth canning jars from over the counter store shelf/thrift store/garage sale and/or washed clean dry re-used grocery liquid food/sauce wide mouth glass jar.
I feel that this may be a probable positive for your company boost in sales of your lemon powder since the weather is so unpredictable and perhaps as the humidity/moisture increases once the products are out of your warehouses into all those trucks, airplanes, transferring package site stations and those hot heated sun-blasted mailboxes and front porches, doorsteps which may have packages sitting out there for hours until the owners / your customers come home from work to help keep down the building up of moisture which may cause damaging your valuable product powders faster than expected.
I am aware of companies which don’t like to put additives into their natural product powders/capsules/tablets which put the larger size pkts of “both o-buster ™ and pillow-pak” in order to help preserve their products fresher and less clumping by putting these in their product containers, etc.
By the way, if you already have been using a “combo of both large O-Buster (TM) and Pillow-Pak” from Desiccare Inc in all your powder containers, I have never seen any in any of my powder containers.
Since we do not add any chemicals to our products, and yours is the only complaint that we have had in ~15 years producing it … we will stick to what we are doing. Thank you for taking the time to offer your thoughts.
