This is our second posting about Eva P., who has run Seagate’s San Diego office for over 12 years. We usually keep her confined in the back warehouse because she can sometimes be annoying. Actually she is a very nice person and a pleasure to be around … that is when she happens to be here at work. Unfortunately she has been suffering since June with a recently diagnosed torn meniscus in her right knee .. even though she is surrounded by pallets of Shark Cartilage and Omega-3s. You will notice, after focusing on the little white puppy, that she has her right knee resting on top of overturned postal boxes.

She has been coming in to work for 5 or 6 hours each day for the past few weeks until the pain gets too intense, waiting for her surgery appointment which will be next week. Low doses of Ibupropen really have not helped her very much. So she decided to try puppy-therapy, where she holds a cute little puppy on her lap every hour for 5 minutes. It seems to help for a little while even though it is not even her puppy. It’s Richard’s on loan to her.
Anyway, we appreciate her being tough and making the effort in coming in to work despite her pain. Except for today. She decided it was too much and needed rest. As a result, we did as promised and made her our Facebook posting for the day.
We hope the days pass quickly for her until she gets the operation next week and finally feels better. We appreciate her dedication in coming in despite the knee. If any of her family sees this and can forward a couple more photos, we can use them on FB when she is in recovery after surgery..
