INGREDIENTS:
- 2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- 16 oz. water
- Re-purposed old conditioner bottle or glass jar
DIRECTIONS:
- Combine apple cider vinegar and water in container
- Shake well and pour onto hair
- Rinse out with warm water

Moisturizing Conditioner for Dry Hair
While this recipe has a little more to it, it is a great option for dry hair because of the moisturizing oils it contains. Meanwhile, you’ll love the fresh and authentic smells of coconut and lavender after you wash your hair. No artificial perfumes or dyes here!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup organic coconut oil
- 1 tsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp. jojoba oil
- 10 drops of lavender essential oil
- Reusable bottle or jar container
DIRECTIONS:
- Combine all ingredients and mix in a bowl for at least 5 minutes
- Transfer the mixture into a reusable bottle
- Apply a dime-size amount of conditioner to hair after rinsing out shampoo
- Focus conditioner on the ends of hair rather than the roots to avoid a greasy look
- Rinse out with water and style
Hair Strengthening DIY conditioner
The great thing about homemade health and beauty products is that you likely already have most of the necessary ingredients lying around your house. This is true of this next hair conditioner recipe that uses food ingredients to benefit your tresses. These ingredients are great for strengthening your hair and adding some shine to it.
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 raw eggs
- 1 tbsp. vinegar
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp. honey
- Reusable bottle or jar
DIRECTIONS:
- First combine the eggs, olive oil, vinegar, and lemon juice in a bowl
- Whisk the egg and mix these ingredients thoroughly
- All the olive oil and honey to the mixture and mix everything into a paste using a blender
- Pour the mixture into a container and apply to the tips of hair after shampooing
- Leave the mixture on for about 10 minutes before rinsing out
