Processing: The fish are cooked, pressed, freeze-dried, and ground into powder in Seagate’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Seagate controls each step of processing. Seagate has developed a unique freeze-dried 75% protein concentrate from whole sardines and anchovies. Seagate harvests these fish along the Pacific coast of Baja California, part of an abundant stable resource. These species inhabit the lower level of the marine food chain and therefore are free of toxins and contaminants found in the predator species such as shark, swordfish and tuna.
Benefits: Marine Protein is a safe and convenient way to receive the full nutritional benefits from eating whole fish while eliminating the cooking, tasting and chewing. Marine Protein is a very rich source of amino acids with only 26 calories per serving.

During the months in which the temperatures quickly go up as high as 98, feels like 110 as we have been having, do you pack your products in a special way to protect them from the fierce heat while they are in those hot trucks once out of your temperature-controlled warehouse? Does your company warehouse keep track of the changing temperatures to the various zip codes before they they ship out products? If not, do you advise that customers make an effort to only order on Mondays so the products not overstay in those hot trucks over weekends and holidays? My concern is that the product capsules, soft gels may melt and reduce their potency. As for the powders, I wonder if the products would tend to cake or if the liquids would have their chemistry altered due to the intense heat thus causing either a reduction in their potency or cause their expiration date to be expedited. My concern also is that products may tend to get damaged by sitting in the mailbox or front porch under the blazing fierce burning sun when one is not home. I would like your guidance on ordering your varies products before making any purchases. Thank you.
Hello VJ,
We have been shipping our products into very hot parts of the U.S. (Las Vegas. Texas, Mississippi, etc.) during the summer months for almost 30 years without issues. The products are not affected by temporary high temperatures. The only noticeable thing if exposed for high temperatures (>140F) is that the vegetable capsules may get a little sticky. Otherwise, there is no problem. You also should not leave these products in a closed metal mailbox all day if you are planning to be away for a few days..
Thank you, Seagate
Is the larger bottle 300 v capsules of Marine Protein no longer available due less frequent customer orders for this size or is it that you eventually have plans to no longer carry this product? (Have not been able to find on website or am I overlooking it?)
Do you have any plans to bring back the larger bottle of Marine Protein consisting of 300 v capsules for those with larger families or those who don’t eat much meat?
Thanks.
Marine Protein is now packaged only in 100 capsule bottles.
Thank you
